THREE YEARS OF DEMITASSE LONDON: A CELEBRATION OF COFFEE, COMMUNITY, AND CREATIVITY

Three years ago, Demitasse London was born out of a passion for specialty coffee and a love for the Wimbledon community. From the very beginning, our vision was to create more than just a coffee shop—we wanted to build a space where people could gather, connect, and share in the experience of exceptional coffee.
Our journey has been shaped by the belief that great coffee brings people together, whether it’s through the ritual of a morning espresso, a long conversation over a perfectly brewed pour-over, or a moment of quiet reflection with a beautifully crafted flat white. But beyond coffee, Demitasse has always been about people—our customers, our neighbours, and the wider Wimbledon community.
A Journey of Milestones

In 2022, we were honoured to showcase our private collection of artwork by Hormazd Narielwalla, blending our love for coffee with a celebration of contemporary art. That same year, we marked the Platinum Jubilee with a special pour-over coffee experience, paying tribute to a moment of national celebration.
Wimbledon Season & Community Spirit

Every summer, we take part in one of Wimbledon’s most cherished traditions—the Wimbledon tennis season. Each year, we create themed menu items to honour the tournament, bringing a taste of the excitement to our café and celebrating the community spirit that makes this time of year so special.
Alongside these events, we’ve introduced seasonal afternoon teas and curated new menu offerings, always keeping our commitment to quality and hospitality at the heart of everything we do.
Welcoming Customers Back After Refurbishments

In mid-2024, we undertook minor refurbishments, briefly closing for a couple of weeks before welcoming back our customers with open arms. It was a moment that reminded us of the warmth and loyalty of our community—something we never take for granted.
Looking Ahead
As we celebrate this milestone, we want to thank every single person who has been part of our journey—our customers, our team, and the wider Wimbledon community. Your love for great coffee, conversation, and shared experiences has made these past three years so special.
Here’s to many more years of coffee, community, and creativity.
